Portaltic.-Vivaldi shows the first version of its e-mail client integrated in the browser

The navigator Vivaldi showed its first technical preview version integrated email client in the browser, compatible with the most popular providers.

This e-mail client, known as Vivaldi post, is compatible with all third-party services offered by mail servers POP3, IMPA and SMTP, then you can access services such as Gmail or Outlook.

With Vivaldi Mail sand it will index all emails from all accounts of users, so that they can search for their emails offline, as reported by the company via its website.

Users will be able to find their e-mail in a file Side panel which is divided into eight sections– all messages, custom folders, mailing lists, filters, flags, labels, sources and all accounts.

Likewise, each section will have a file message counter new ones that users have not yet seen and another with messages that they have already seen but have not read.

Vivaldi Mail will also allow users to see only emails that match the criteria of a search made through the search bar. These searches will be saved in the “Filters” section and will allow users to do so can use them again.

Users can also customize some functions how to choose certain keys on the keyboard to perform a certain function, such as replying to an email, forwarding it, deleting it or marking it as unread, among other things.

Furthermore, Vivaldi has support for RSS reader, with which users can subscribe to news sources and receive news based on their interests. These sources will appear in the Vivaldi Mail section known as “Sources” and have the extension look like an email.

Finally, users will also have Vivaldi calendar integrated into the browser and will have keyboard shortcuts, shortcut menu or context menu, which allows you to add a new event to the calendar by selecting a text.

Users can choose between different types of visualization, already knows by day, week, month or year as well sync your calendar service, such as Google Calendar Outlook.

So far this is a technical preview of Vivaldi Mail and users can try it out by downloading the latest Snapchot and activate the Vivaldi Mail option, as it is disabled by default for now.
