Android Messages is the Google messaging app with which the American company wants to replace SMS messages, and now launched its new RCS communication standard worldwide, which allows you to send higher quality files.

Now, Google has announced in a statement that Android Messages will embed the end-to-end encryption feature in RCS chats between two users, so that only participants can see its content and not even Google can access the chats.

End-to-end encryption, already present in other messaging apps like WhatsApp, Coming to message beta testers starting in Novemberand will continue to spread until 2021.

RCS chat conversations between two users it will be encrypted automatically for users who have the feature, but it will only be available for conversations where both participants have installed the chat features of Android Messages.
