Design do POCO M3, from Xiaomi
The front features of the POCO M3 are typical of an input device, with a Dewdrop notch and a relatively large bezel (for 2020) measuring about a quarter of an inch surrounding the 6.53-inch Full HD + LCD.
However, when you flip the device over, it looks unique and impressive, with a giant camera module occupying a third of the back, similar to the beautiful OnePlus 8T Cyberpunk 2077 Edition. The rest carries a plastic with a synthetic leather finish that gives the feeling of excellent quality (in relation to the materials of other products).
Xiaomi’s POCO M3 specifications
The POCO M3 is equipped with a Snapdragon 662 chip, which, for the price of the novelty, fits well, paired with an Adreno 610 GPU optimized for games on this budget. There’s also a 6,000mAh battery, which is impressive for a device that weighs just 198g and is 9.6mm thick. Complementing its construction, there is a 3.5mm headphone output and two speakers that reproduce relatively loud sounds.

POCO M3 camera specifications
The rest of the components consist of input parts. The LCD refreshes at a frequency of 60Hz and, although it appears sharp, it does not get very bright (reaches a maximum of 400 nits); the main camera system is “triple” only in advertising, as the 48-inch sensor is accompanied by two almost disposable 2MP sensors. Also, the lack of an ultra wide-angle lens is really shocking, considering it’s already late 2020. Finally, the front camera is only for selfies during the day, that’s all.
Of the three components, the main one surprised us the most. From the tests we could see that, in good lighting conditions, the images have decent colors with good dynamic range. Thanks to the native resolution of 48MP, you can capture high resolution images with rich details. Even for normal modes, most of the captures also showed good clarity.
AnTuTu heads
In the AnTuTu test, the POCO M3 reached 153,000 points, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 662, whose main processor is the Kryo 260, 4x 2.0GHz, with 64-bit architecture and Qualcomm Adreno 610 graphics processor. On DeviceRanks, the device obtained a hardware performance score of 6.3. Overall, 8.6 AnTuTus.
POCO M3 64GB and 128GB prices
Sales of the POCO M3 begin this Friday (27), with an early discount ($ 129 for the 64GB storage variant and $ 149 for the 128GB model). Hence, the devices will cost $ 149 and $ 169, based on their storage capacity.
