Peseiro bets on a more offensive Venezuela against Chile

The Venezuelan football manager, the Portuguese José Peseiro, said this Monday, November 16 that his team will try to be more offensive against Chile, without losing the defensive stability shown against Brazil, to try to win in the fourth day of qualifying South American for Qatar 2022.

In a press conference ahead of the game to be played on Tuesday 17 November, the Portuguese coach said he expects “a more offensive and more aggressive game” from his team that puts his players “closer to the goal to score goals and to win”.

Venezuela considers their three games played in the qualifying groups defeated: 3-0 against Colombia; 0-1 with Paraguay; and 1-0 in Brazil.

As Peseiro explained, in the match against Chile, Venezuela’s black beast, it is important that the defensive line be “more aggressive” and play more advanced.
