Puerto Rican urban artist Ozuna surprised the smallest man in the world, Colombian Edward Niño Hernández, with a video call to inform him that they were both included in the 2021 edition of the Guinness Book of Records.
The organization of the famous book organized the virtual meeting to fulfill Hernández’s wish to meet Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado, holder of four Guinness records, according to the artist’s spokespersons this Wednesday in a press release.
Ozuna reached his first Guinness record in 2018, when he placed 46 consecutive weeks as the male solo artist with the most weeks (46) on the Billboard Top Latin Albums chart with “Odyssey”.
Then, in 2019, he was officially recognized and certified by the Guinness Book of Records with three brands: the artist with the most videos to reach 1 billion views on YouTube (7), the solo artist with the most nominations in a single year at the Billboard Latin Music Awards (23) and the solo artist with the most Billboard Latin Music Awards won in just one year (11).
For his part, Hernández entered the famous book of records on April 13, 2010, when at age 24 he measured 2 feet 3.64 inches (70.21 centimeters) in height.
This year, the publication’s editors worked to ensure that both Ozuna and Hernández appeared in the new edition of the book, with exclusive photos revealing the moment they were both officially certified by the issue’s organizers in Puerto Rico and Colombia respectively. .
Hernández appears in the section of the smallest people in the world, together with the smallest married couple in the world (Brazil), the smallest bus driver in the world (United Kingdom), the smallest woman of all time, among others .
