The actor and stand-up comedian Ottfried Fischer (67) is looking for a new job for the Corona period: he writes as a columnist for the diocese of Passau.

The 67-year-old lives in Passau, the German hotspot of Corona, and therefore hardly goes out. But he wasn’t bored, he told the German news agency. Recently he wrote as a columnist for the gazette of the diocese of Passau and for the Altöttinger Liebfrauenbote. “Is very funny.” His first column entitled “Spötterdämmerung” has already appeared. The lyrics should be critical of the church, said the outspoken Catholic, who once had an audience of millions on television as “Pastor Braun.”

Contact with other actors only by telephone

Otherwise, Fischer finds “being shut down” in isolation rather contemplative. “You can go through this period with a clear conscience, after all you don’t miss anything,” Fischer said. His wife Simone, however, is playing around with camp fever a bit because there is nowhere to go and nothing to plan.

Fischer is currently in contact by telephone with other comedians and actors. Criticizes the closure of the restaurant. The innkeepers have invested heavily in the conscientious creation of their restaurants and in meeting the hygiene requirements. – dpa
