At Snapdragon Tech Summit Digital 2020 annual event, OPPO announced plans to launch the latest Find X series smartphones, the first 5G smartphones to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform.

Developed on 5nm technology and based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon X60 5G Modem-RF system, the innovative Snapdragon 888 5G mobile platform offers superior performance and further enhancements in the latest 5G technology, imaging, artificial intelligence and gaming experience. OPPO Find X series
In addition, the latest flagships of the Find X series will have the color management system, which allows 10-bit photography and runs on the Android platform, a system launched under OPPO INNO DAY 2020. All these functions make the new Find series flagships X among the most anticipated 5G smartphones of 2021.
Over time, OPPO has made significant efforts to become a leader in the 5G smartphone market. Therefore, the company has launched numerous products that use the Snapdragon mobile platform. For example, the OPPO Reno 5G smartphone using the Snapdragon 855 platform was the first 5G smartphone available on the European market in May 2019. In June 2019, OPPO, in collaboration with Qualcomm Technologies and Ericsson, won the award for “The best development of the 5G network in Europe ”thanks to OPPO Reno 5G.
This year, OPPO has launched a series compatible with 5G Find X2, Reno 3 and Reno 4 technology, all supported by the Snapdragon mobile platform. In addition, the collaboration between OPPO and Qualcomm Technologies is continuously expanding, developing a wide range of smart products supported by the Snapdragon platform, including 5G CPE routers and OPPO smartwatches.
Therefore, in order to accelerate the commercialization of 5G in global markets, OPPO and Qualcomm Technologies have been constantly working to test 5G programs together with the leading global network operators.
For example, in December 2019, OPPO made the industry’s first Dynamic Spectrum Sharing (DSS) call in partnership with Ericsson, Qualcomm Technologies, Swisscom and Telstra. Additionally, in July this year, OPPO helped develop the UK’s first autonomous 5G (SA) network in partnership with Qualcomm Technologies, Ericsson and Vodafone.
