Some OnePlus 8 and OnePlus 8 Pro users have started receiving an update that can erase all data from their smartphone. And the brand has already made it public to warn them not to install it under certain circumstances.
In question is the OxygenOS 11 Open Beta 3 in these two devices. This is because, instead of receiving this to update, some users will have received a “stable” version that cleaned the equipment.

Remember that OxygenOS is available in versions Closed beta (Trial version closed), Open beta (Open trial version) e Stable (Stable). And what happened was that users of Open beta received an update it was Stable, which deletes your data.
This means you only need to worry if you have a OnePlus 8 or 8 Pro and are in the Open Beta program. You should therefore confirm well which update you are installing and save all your data, yes or no.
