An update for Microsoft Office apps for iPadOS brings previously announced support for peripheral devices such as mice and trackpads. In a blog post, Microsoft explains that the update will make working on the tablet even easier. Users can also use the trackpad in Apple’s Magic Keyboard to navigate between apps. The cursor is context sensitive. Microsoft has also revised the app splash screens and changed the menus to be easier to use.
The new features have been implemented in Word, Excel and Powerpoint for iPadOS and will be rolled out to all users in the coming weeks. (luc)
