NXT in doubt for this year’s Survivor Series

With the Survivor Series approaching, people speculate that, as it did last year, WWE could include NXT in the event, instead of coming right back around Raw and SmackDown.

During the Hell in a Cell this Sunday we had the transmission of a promotional video with Undertaker and at the same time a graphic project was presented that was the same as last year, in which the center has the yellow color referred to NXT. This has led to speculation that the brand yellow can be part of this year’s Survivor Series.

However, judging by the promotional video focused only on Undertaker, we would say that this year’s Survivor Series should not count on the participation of NXT, thus returning to being only between Raw and SmackDown.

We remind you that NXT’s participation in the Survivor Series last year took place almost out of “obligation”, after the Superstars of main list were held in Saudi Arabia after Crown Jewel, and the following SmackDown and Raw had many stars from brand Yellow.

Additionally, last year’s Survivor series almost coincided with the culmination of the start of the “war” between NXT and AEW Dynamite, so it also served to help brand yellow to stand out and conquer a new audience, to face the competing program in the fight for the television audience.

This year there are two big points that almost confirm that the NXT shouldn’t even be part of the Survivor Series: first because the 2020 edition will be dedicated to the 30th anniversary of Undertaker’s debut, and second because it would be a huge risk to join the roster from NXT to shifts Raw and SmackDown in times of pandemics.

However, we can only await further information and official confirmation from WWE.

Do you think WWE should include NXT in this year’s Survivor Series or should this edition focus only on Raw and SmackDown and also on Undertaker?
