NVIDIA shows the new Cyberpunk 2077 game with Ray Tracing in 4K

In a GeForce blog post, the video card company gave details on applying Ray Tracing in the futuristic RPG and released a 4K video with the ray tracing features in action.

The three-minute video features interviews with Cyberpunk 2077 developers, who comment on the application of ray tracing in the game. Production is illustrated with gameplay footage captured on PC with RTX capabilities enabled.

Cyberpunk 2077 will also feature a ray tracing application for shadows and reflectionsand the video published by NVIDIA shows the result obtained from an RTX 30 series GPU. The game also has support for DLSS, which is used to ensure higher performance, when using RT.

NVIDIA also took advantage of all of this and revealed the recommended requirements for Cyberpunk 2077. Unlike the official specs, the list only includes the brand’s video cards and comes with more details on using DLSS.

According to NVIDIA, an RTX 2060 will be able to use Ray Tracing at a medium setting with DLSS active and Full HD resolution. Video cards such as RTX 2080 Ti and RTX 3070 will be able to use the feature in Ultra and 1440p resolution with DLSS in action.

For those looking for even more advanced experience, NVIDIA indicates that the RTX 3080 can run Cyberpunk 2077 with Ray Tracing in Ultra and 4K resolution. The manufacturer also notes that the CD Projekt Red game will be available on GeForce Now, a service that allows you to run the game via the cloud, from launch day. The platform is not yet officially available in Argentina.

Cyberpunk 2077 will launch on December 10 on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S. The game will also be available on Google Stadia.
