HardwareNVIDIA unveiled the GeForce RTX 3060 model, the most affordable graphics card of the RTX 30 series. The manufacturer’s recommended starting price – 2019 lei.
NVIDIA claims that the RTX 3060 offers performance over the RTX 2080 Super. It would be optimized to provide good quality gameplay in 1080p and 1440p resolutions.
What technologies are built into the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060?
- NVIDIA DLSS (increased number of fps through the Tensor and AI cores, 26 games are compatible and more are added every month);
- NVIDIA Reflex – reduces system latency / input lag and games respond more readily to commands (multiplayer advantage);
- NVIDIA broadcast – AI and video enhancements (virtual backgrounds, image capture, background noise reduction to use content in chat, Skype and video conferencing).
GeForce RTX 3060 will include stock clocked and factory overclocked models (editions to be developed by ASUS, Colorful, EVGA, Gainward, Galaxy, Gigabyte, Innovision 3D, MSI, Palit, PNY and Zotac).
Other hardware details related to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060:
- Core RT of the second generation;
- the third generation of Tensor cores (2 times faster transfer);
- 4864 NVIDIA CUDA cores, 1.67 GHz boost frequency and 8 GB of GDDR6 memory.
