New Survey Show Crypto Enthusiasts want XRP as a gift, not BTC Latest Ripple XRP Coin News and price analysis

The XRP was a popular cryptocurrency between banks and financial institutions. However, according to a recent survey, it is possible that its popularity may actually go even further. In fact, XRP may be the most popular altcoin to offer as a gift during the subsequent Christmas holidays.

In a recent Twitter survey released on December 20 by Globee, a company that provides encryption services to merchants around the world, the company asked its community which cryptocurrency would rather receive as a gift. Their options were Bitcoin (BTC), XRP and Monero (XMR), or to mention another currency in the comments section.

The results of the survey are clear and XRP is in the lead with a huge 49% of all votes. Bitcoin is currently in second place, with 37% of the votes, while only 9% of the participants decided to choose XMR as their own cryptography. The last 5% of voters chose to mention another cryptocurrency in the comments section of the post.

So far, the survey has collected over 14,600 votes and will be closed within an hour, indicating that the XRP will probably remain the most desired currency.

Why is Ripple so popular?

While some may be surprised by these results, many analysts point out that the popularity of XRP could come because of its convenience and ease of payment. Even so, Bitcoin was the leading currency during the first 24 hours of the survey. While the poll had only 6,500 votes, about 51% of voters chose to receive Bitcoin. However, the largest crypt by market capitalization quickly became the second for XRP.

Even so, the number of users who would like to be equipped in BTC is still very high, despite its obsolete and obsolete technology and higher tariffs.

Regarding Monero (XMR), private money was chosen only by 9% of participants, despite the fact that it provides higher levels of privacy and anonymity. As many already know, XMR can protect users from tracking their transactions, as well as details about each transaction, including the amount sent, who initiated the payment and where the money is going.

Many might be surprised by the fact that Monero has obtained the lowest score on the list, considering the technological advances and the privacy features that derive from it.

As for the comments section, it is full of various answers – not only with other suggestions of altcoin, but also with comments on the coins offered, or reasons why the participants decided to choose one currency or another. Many claimed that XRP should not be there because "it is not a true cryptocurrency". Monero's supporters said they chose this coin because of its privacy features, while BTC supporters chose this coin because it can be used to buy any other encryption.

Despite the different tastes in the heights or the expectations of the capabilities of digital currencies, many have still found it comforting that so many people are ready and willing to use cryptography and start discussions about their nature and potential.
