Motorola has had a busy year and doesn’t seem to be slowing down too soon. The company has just announced two new budget models, Moto G9 Power and Moto G 5G, smartphones with amazing specifications and low price.
The new models complement existing ranges to offer more affordable options for those looking for cheap and good smartphones.
Moto G9 Power – More than two days of autonomy
The Power range has always been about big batteries and the G9 Power doesn’t disappoint. The smartphone is equipped with a huge 6,000 mAh battery, which promises up to 60 hours of battery life under normal conditions. Basically, a very moderate user could get maybe even 3 days of use. Charging is fast enough, at 20W.
The G9 Power features a whopping 6.8-inch HD + resolution screen, and underneath it has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor and 4GB of RAM. Storage is generous even for a smartphone of this class – the G9 Power offers 128GB of storage, but you can add a microSD card for even more space.
The rooms are surprising even for a phone in this price range. Specifically, the Moto G9 Power is equipped with a triple camera on the back where we notice the main 64 megapixel sensor with Quad Pixel technology, a 2MP sensor with macro lens and a 2MP depth sensor. The front camera also benefits from a large 16MP sensor for clear video calling and successful selfies.
How much? Moto G9 Power will have a price of around 200 euros, which is a phone under 1,000 lei.
Moto G 5G – 5G cheaper than ever
Moto G 5G is the little brother of the recently launched Moto G 5G Plus, which I tested here. It is a smartphone that democratizes 5G connections and makes them accessible to anyone.
It also has a large screen, 6.7 inches, but the resolution here is HD +, and the display is compatible with the HDR10 standard, to give you the highest quality video. Below the screen we find the fast Snapdragon 750G 5G processor, assisted by 4 or 6 GB of RAM, and the storage is 64 or 128 GB, with the possibility of expanding it with a microSD card.
Moto G 5G promises good performance thanks to the above specifications, but also very high download and upload speeds on the 5G connection. But it also comes with a custom 5,000mAh battery, for around two days of use.
And in terms of cameras, that’s fine. Moto G 5G has a 48MP main sensor with Quad Pixel and Night Mode technology, an 8MP sensor with ultrawide lenses and a 2MP sensor with macro lenses. The front camera is 16 MP and also benefits from Quad Pixel technology.
The price for this smartphone is around 299 euros.
