People who want to park in Spalding are told that some ticket offices only accept card payments from Monday (11 June).
The notices were published in the South Holland District Council, where parking lots were parked, including Victoria Street and the castle's sports complex.
Director Roger Gambba-Jones, Portfolio Holder for Place, said: "On June 11, we will install new payment machines in Spalding car parks.
"These machines will be cashless and only accept cards and payments by phone.
"We anticipate that the machines will be operational by June 18. The option to use the money payment in two of our most famous car parks, Herring Lane and Victoria Street, will continue.
"One of the main reasons for this approach is due to the more recent theft of a cash payment machine and those we have suffered in the past. There will also be savings in terms of revenue and time spent by staff who must collect, collect and process. cash machines.
"We believe that all parking users will benefit from the choice and convenience of different payment options: to view the locations and costs of our car parks, visit: www.sholland.gov.uk/carparks".
