A new update for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and the battle royale Warzone game is coming very soon and it looks like it will bring some welcome changes.
Starting off, the update reduces Modern Warfare and Warzone’s file sizes by about 25GB on each platform, Infinity Ward’s Paul Haile said on Twitter. Players will be able to download high resolution textures, but they will be optional. And on PC, a new option is added that gives you the ability to dynamically stream assets in high resolution, Hiele said.
In addition to these changes, the update for Modern Warfare and Warzone includes the first updates for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. However, Hiele hasn’t shared any details on these improvements, but all of this should be clear very soon.

Due to their popularity, Modern Warfare and Warzone will continue to receive new updates when Black Ops Cold War launches on November 13th. In fact, games will be more connected than ever, as there will be XP “synchronized” and leveling each game, so the progress you make on one title applies to the others.
