The Philips E-Line has grown. The 242E1GAEZ and 272E1GAEZ are now part of the Philips gaming monitor family. The first is a 23.8-inch screen, the 272E1GAEZ is a 27-inch screen. Both devices have a 144 Hertz refresh rate and a height-adjustable stand. MMD also promises a 1 millisecond MPRT (Moving Picture Response Time) response time. Therefore, the two monitors are also suitable for racing, action and shooter games where speed is important.

The 242E1GAEZ and 272E1GAEZ are also equipped with a VA panel and Full HD resolution. Thanks to “ultra-wide-color technology”, monitors should provide a wide spectrum of colors with lifelike images and displaying contrasts in the darkest sections of the image should also not be a problem. According to MMD, gamers can also adjust image reproduction to suit their tastes. The flicker-free technology and low blue mode should also be easy on the eyes.

Both monitors will be available from the end of November. The 242E1GAEZ is available for an MSRP of CHF 209. The 272E1GAEZ costs CHF 259.

Whether on PC, smartphone or via console: those who are at home more often also have more time to play. The crown crisis is having a positive effect on the entire gaming industry. The market is expected to grow approximately 8% to $ 178.2 billion by 2021. Find out more here.
