Arturo Machado, brother of Miss Universe 1996, Alicia Machado was found dead this weekend in Venezuela after a year of disappearance.

Machado herself confirmed the news on Instagram, where she specified that: “my brother had been missing for almost a year and unfortunately we were informed that his remains have appeared”.
The incident took place in the city of Maracay, in the Venezuelan state of Aragua; place where the beauty queen was born.
“My sweet love RIP now that you are with dad, your older sister will always carry you present in my heart, like the sincerest love of brothers,” wrote Machado.
