(CNN) –– Miley Cyrus has spoken publicly about how she too had to fight during the pandemic.

In a recent appearance on Apple’s “New Music Daily with Zane Lowe,” which aired Monday, Cyrus said she was “fallen” and never wanted to pretend to be sober.

“I had a relapse and realized that now I’m sober again, two weeks sober,” said the singer and actress. Cyrus revealed in June that she had been sober for six months at the time. “I feel like I’ve really accepted that moment.”

The artist added that she has decided not to blame herself.

“One of the things I’ve used is, ‘Don’t be mad, be curious,'” he said. So don’t be mad at yourself, but ask yourself, “What happened?”

The star noted that she has problems with moderation, adding that she believes everyone should do their best for each other.

It might not be sobriety for everyone, Cyrus said. Although he argued that alcohol can lead to impulsive behavior.

“I have no problem drinking alcohol,” he said. “I have a problem with the decisions I make once I get past that level of … I even wanted to wake up 100%, 100% of the time.”

Miley Cyrus talks about her last three years

Cyrus has been through a lot and called the last three years of his life a “cocktail of chaos”.

During that time, she separated from her husband, actor Liam Hemsworth, after a marriage of less than a year. However, they were in an on-off relationship for a decade.

Prior to the breakup, the couple lost their home during the Malibu fires.

Cyrus turned 28 this Monday. In that sense, she told Lowe that the fact that she was 27 really made her look for sobriety “because we lost a lot of icons at 27”.

“Jimi Hendrix, Jim Morrison, Kurt Cobain and Amy Winehouse are some of the celebrities who died at that age,” he said. “This is a crucial moment. Enter the next chapter or this is over for you. ‘

Cyrus’ latest album “Plastic Hearts” will be out this Friday.
