Mike Tyson and Roy Jones Jr. were two of the absolute best fighters of their generation: Tyson one of the fiercest boxers in boxing history and Jones a pound for pound elite. There was once a discussion about a fight between the two when they were active competitors, but now it happens at a show with both in their 50s on Saturday night.

The fight takes place at the Staples Center in Los Angeles and airs on pay-per-view with the main card starting at 9:00 PM ET. The fight will be scored remotely by “celebrity judges” awarded by WBC for the WBC-created Frontline Championship. Commission officials said the fight is not about men fighting at full speed, but rather about being “tough fighters” to show off their skills. Despite the oversight body’s statements on the rules, Tyson and Jones have promised that they will do whatever it takes to try and win.
