Mia Air 2.0 – A smart air purifier should eliminate corona viruses

Even the new Mia Air 2.0 air purifier, which can also be controlled via the app, should be able to eliminate coronaviruses.

Mia Air 2.0 with 3-stage filtering technology

The ongoing corona pandemic has also significantly increased interest in air purifiers in Germany. Especially in school classes or doctor’s offices, these are increasingly used to replace ventilation in the cold season or to make a supplement here. But interest in air purifiers has also increased in private homes. They also like to rely on smart solutions that can also be controlled via an app.

A new air purifier with the smart control option is MBI’s Mia Air 2.0 model. This air purifier is mobile and has hidden roles. Plus, it should run particularly quietly at 20-60 dB. Its 3-stage filtration system consists of a prefilter, activated carbon to remove odors and volatile organic compounds and a HEPA class H14 cleanroom filter with 99.995% separation. It should also be able to filter Corvid-19 viruses from the air.

Air quality is measured continuously during operation and data such as air quality index, filter status, CO2 pollution, fine dust and volatile organic compounds are displayed. Operation is possible on the device itself or with the associated app.

Price and availability

The Mia Air 2.0 can currently only be ordered from the manufacturer. To do this, you need to fill out the contact form on the website. The list price is 1,575 euros. This obviously isn’t exactly cheap and therefore probably not for all families.
