With his ARD show “The Advent Festival of 100,000 Lights”, Florian Silbereisen (39) announced the start of Christmas on Saturday night. Not all of the acts were so well received by viewers. Right at the start of the show there was some criticism on the net.

The Schlager duo “Fantasy” sang THE Christmas song par excellence with “Last Christmas”, but in German, some could not believe their ears.
Singer Marina Marx (30) had the same idea. It gave Mariah Carey’s catchy melody “All I Want For Christmas Is You” a German text, but not quite a good idea.
Otherwise, the show has spread a lot of anticipation for Christmas.
