Leading members of the XRP community have been successful at BitMEX Research for a research paper he wrote at the start of this year. Because of the work done by BitMEX researchers, David Schwartz had a discussion with BitMEX about some errors included in the research. Here, BitMEX claimed that Bitcoin [BTC]The Sony network is more resilient than that of XRP because it uses the job test [PoW].

After almost a year, the post has again drawn attention, from ecent and Tiffany Hayden, to two significant members of the XRP community. According to Hayden, BitMEX Research has not corrected its "error-free search" in time and needs to be addressed to it.
He also stated that it is tiring to see wrong information in the cryptocurrency space where the spread of disinformation has become commonplace.
On the hand, ecent stated that from the moment of their online discussion with the Ripple CTO, BitMEX changes tone in what they were saying earlier on the XRP ledger. The comment said:
"The speed with which BitMex" Research "has changed its tone is comical: David has just shown a Jedi mental trick in real life? Star Wars is real and we found Yoda !!!"
Here, BitMEX has come forward and recently wrote:
"Please indicate the errors and we will solve it as soon as possible"
To this, Hayden also replied and acknowledged:
"Have you taken a step back?"
In a recent interview with the Internet History Podcast, Schwartz spoke about the PoW protocol used in Bitcoin and mentioned it as a "contradictory system". On the other hand, he revealed that the idea behind the creation of the XRP registry was to leave the PoW mechanism behind.
According to him, the system on which BTC runs creates competition between the miners, giving rise to conflicts of interest. In XRP, the community works together for the progress of the ecosystem.
