The Bahrain Grand Prix turned out to be a marathon rather than a sprint, but that didn’t stop it from being one of our best weekends of the season. Of course, after qualifying, such a result seemed unlikely, but on Sunday everything started with Lando and Carlos returning home fourth and fifth respectively under the lights of Sakhir.
However, everything pales in comparison to the severity of Romain Grosjean’s fall. We left this weekend feeling immensely grateful to the FIA and Formula 1 for consistently trying to make our sport as safe as possible, and to the Bahrain International Circuit safety team for their quick reactions to Romain’s crash.
