Warner Bros. Film Studio, one of the largest film producers in the world, has announced that it will launch most of its productions simultaneously on the US film network and on HBO GO next year. This is a big change in strategy, according to specialty site Variety, caused by uncertainty in the auditorium industry and the growing importance of streaming services such as HBO Go and Netflix.

Among the films coming out next year is Matrix 4, directed by Lana Wachowski and starring Keanu Reeves, already in post-production.

Other planned Warner Bros. productions are the remake of “Dune” directed by Denis Villeneuve and the movie “The Many Saints of Newark” – a prequel to the “Soprano Clan” series.

Also on HBO Go will be the latest thriller starring Denzel Washington (“The Little Things”), a remake of “Tom and Jerry”, the blockbuster Godzilla vs. Kong, “Angelina Jolie’s” Who Wish Me Dead “and a sports-inspired drama starring Will Smith.
