About maneater

Maneater is a single player game in an open game world where the player is the shark. It starts as a young bull shark, which is completely on its own after its mother’s bloody slaughter in the vast oceans and must survive by eating as quickly as possible across the marine ecosystem. The young shark faces numerous enemies, both human and animal. By hunting the most sensitive food resources, the growth and development of the young animal is accelerated and, with a little skill, steered far beyond the limits of what is naturally possible, so that the player can adapt the adventure to his style of play. The successful development of a young bull shark baby into an impressive monstrous shark allows wild hunting for unscrupulous fishermen, who will soon have to take responsibility for the death of the shark’s mother. The road from a small child to the legendary Predator of the Sea is long and not easy. To eat. To explore. To develop.

Main features:

  • TO EAT: It eats animals and humans, consumes nutrients and finds rare shark prey to develop more than nature ever intended.
  • EXPLORE THE OCEAN: Explore seven huge regions, including Gulf Coast bays, vacation beaches, industrial ports, the vastness of the oceans, and more. Experience a complete change day and night
  • Become a legend: Unlock numerous evolutionary steps to further develop and improve your shark and apply them to your hunt throughout the campaign.
  • UNIQUE STORY: Make your way through a fully narrated, story-based campaign, narrated in the original by Chris Parnell (Rick and Morty, Saturday Night Live, 30 Rock)
  • DIFFERENT AND ADRIVO BATTLES: Fight against challenging beasts, including other shark species, or numerous human hunters, from drunkards to coast guards

With a truly unique and never-before-seen approach to action RPG, Tripwire Interactive and Deep Silver send players from around the world on a journey into unexplored depths with Maneater.

Maneater is available in stores for Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be unveiled in time for the launch of the new Sony console on November 19 in Europe. Details on the Nintendo Switch version will follow.
