Mandalorian’s Razor Crest is shaping up to be one of the best Star Wars toys ever made

It might not be the coveted rocket-firing Boba Fett action figure, nor offer as many play possibilities as the $ 800 LEGO Star Wars UCS Millennium Falcon.

But if you are a fan of The Mandalorian, whose second season starts on Friday, Hasbro’s $ 350 Razor Crest may be the best Star Wars toy in a very long time. At 30 inches long, 20 inches wide, and 10.5 inches tall, it’s large enough to recreate a whole bunch of iconic Disney + show scenes inside its cockpit and cargo hold – using standard 3.75-inch figures – and the whole ship is chock-full of details.

Inside you’ll find a locker full of weapons, a carbonite freezing chamber and Baby Yoda’s hideout, plus seventeen several panels you can remove to see inside the ship, show damage, or pretend that a group of Jawas have stripped it for parts, not to mention the engines, main guns and landing gear, all of which come off.

There is also a detachable escape pod large enough to hold the Mando, a hidden rear cannon and two foldable loading ramps. You won’t even need to find your crew – The Mandalorian comes with his signature weapons, a full set of Beskar armor and a cloth cape, and it looks like The Child will have a blanket, bowl of bone broth and a fully chromed -out hoverpram.

Sure, it costs $ 350, you’ll have to pretend you’re “crowdfunding” the product to buy one, and there’s a chance it won’t be as good as the model in these pictures – Hasbro warns you’re looking into a “paint model” and that the “product may vary in final production”. The company also has no plans to ship it until the fall of 2021, so you have a full year to wait.

But hey, it’s only just over double the price of an otherwise swampy standard MandalorianXbox themed gamepad. You have until 11:59 pm ET on Nov 9 to review the file gigantic image gallery above, the video below and the product page before making a decision.
