Pearl Abyss today announced a host of new content for the console version of Black Desert. The free update unlocks revival and awakening abilities, as well as new weapons for some classes, and also brings with it new events and in-game rewards.
Gardia, the new playable class in Black desert for PlayStation and Xbox, it gets their awakening abilities and a brand new weapon in the truest sense of the word. Now he wields the massive blade of Jördun, which thanks to the sacred flame Ynix burns so hot that it can burn even the gods themselves. The guards have no difficulty in handling the razor-sharp weapon as lightly as a feather and thus frighten their opponents. Jördun’s flames unleash a series of attacks with great destructive power.
The Guardian’s new awaken abilities include:
- Fiery Fang: After destroying the ground with Jördun, Gardia rushes forward in an explosion of flames.
- Götterdämmerung: By knocking Jördun to the ground, Gardia detonates an explosion that burns the ground around her.
- Purifying Fire: Gardia turns on itself with a powerful blow of the sword; Jördun’s flames spread in an area attack and burn enemies around them.
- Fiery retribution: With the help of the Holy Flames, Gardia rises into the air and descends on her opponents to burn them.
The update also gives the Tamer, Mystic, and Valkyrie classes their own rebirth abilities, which can be combined with their respective original weapons.
The introduction of the new skills is accompanied by a series of in-game events:
- Even Thanksgiving shows Black desert do not stop. Green-fingered adventurers can use part of their garden to plant a special variety of potatoes. Successful players can exchange their rich harvest for Valks’ advice.
- By leveling up the Tamer, Mystique, or Valkyrie classes to level 58, players can secure scrolls that increase the combat and EXP of the skill. At level 60, they also receive gold bars and advice from Valks. If you wish to level up the Guard, you will receive rewards such as Advice of Valks, Blessed Scroll, and Scroll of Loot upon completing certain missions.
- The “Hot Time” event returns for two weeks. Between November 18th and December 2nd, players will receive 200% more Combat EXP, 30% more Skill EXP, and 50% more Item Drop Chance.
- Last but not least, there is a discount on all items from the For, Interior and Camp areas in the Pearl Shop.
