Saving Endangered Species From Extinction

In May of this year, as reported by CCN, Kutcher collaborated with Ripple to donate US $ 4 in XRP to the Ellen DeGeneres Wildlife Fund, a nonprofit organization initiated by the talk and talk host daytime show, Ellen DeGeneres, with the intention of supporting global conservation efforts for species that are in grave danger.

At the start this year, Ripple and its executives have donated XRP worth approximately US $ 29 million to support public schools in the United States through DonorsChoose.org nonprofit. As noted by the non-profit, Ripple's donation was the largest DonorsChoose has ever received after having been in existence for nearly twenty years.

The donation of Ripple and its managers satisfied the requests that teachers from over 28,000 public schools had made educators and their students have access to school supplies, books, travel, technology and other learning resources.

"We are impressed by the generosity of Ripple's team," The founder of DonorsChoose, Charles Best, stated in a statement. "Their gift will provide teaching materials and experiences to more than a million students, overwhelmingly in low-income communities."
