The introductory round is underway
The warm-up lap has begun and Lance Stroll leads the pack throughout the lap for the first time in his career. Ferrari falls in the rain

More rain: first offside impacts!
Even today, the Istanbul Park riders are not spoiled by the sun. Before the start it rained and the track is wet again and so the next slide is probably waiting for us. Some pilots have already heard it in an outlap. Antonio Giovinazzi had slipped away, had rushed into the gravel and smashed slightly against the barrier. And Mercedes?
Mercedes only follows behind. Lewis Hamilton is only sixth behind Daniel Ricciardo. Michael Schumacher’s next Formula 1 record will likely be set today. Lewis Hamilton is about to win his seventh title in the drivers’ championship. There are 85 points of advantage on today’s race between him and his teammate Valtteri Bottas, of which Hamilton should have brought at least 78 points of advantage and could not be overcome.
