Litecoin, the eighth largest cryptocurrency in the world, has been at the forefront when it comes to use cases and adoptions in the real world compared to Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies.
Litecoin has also become the first cryptocurrency to enter the octagon as it sponsored a UFC 232 fight: Jones Vs Gustaffson which took place in December 2018. According to Ben Askren's recent tweet, a UFC fighter said he had been happy to have been sponsored by Litecoin.
He stated in the video posted on his Twitter account saying:
"I just wanted to thank you for the sponsor for UFC 235, I am particularly honored to represent you guys, because you guys are a cause I believe in. Obviously, I have a lot of Litecoin on my own and I think it's great when I not only get a sponsorship, but I continue to believe in what I think can contribute to creating a better future.
Askren went on to thank the Litecoin Foundation and the community for building this sponsor and said it will try to bring Litecoin to the next level.
Charlie Lee tweeted the video with a comment saying:
"I am thrilled to see the community (#LTCEastCoastTeam & #LTCWestCoastTeam) get together to support @Benaskren The Litecoin Foundation does not take this into account – good luck at UFC 235, Ben!"
In addition, Litecoin's recent sponsor was successful while the Litecoin "LTC" logo was on the canvas during the night of combat. This would allow Litecoin to be assisted by millions of people during the game and help put it on the right path to adoption.
@mrilirigashi, a Twitter user commented:
"The price is lagging behind and Litecoin has a lot of it, and once the market price is reached, you will see that Litecoin will continue to thrive in the future." We are not focusing on price, we are focused on adoption because that's what will leave this bear market ".
@lismightydavis, another Twitter user commented:
"It's not the foundation @Benaskren, it's the people in the #litecoin community! #LTCFAM"
