Just over 30,000 people were in PreP in France in June 2020, according to the Ministry of Health which notes, based on recent data, “a change in the dynamics of the spread of PrEP due to the health crisis” linked to Covid-19.
The minister also mentioned access to screening for sexually transmitted infections (STIs / STDs), which will be strengthened by allowing nurses and midwives to prescribe it.
