The fact that the latest version of the O11 Dynamic has the suffix “Mini” only means that it is the smallest case in the series. Behind the name is still a full-blown ATX cube with a volume of around 43 liters.

Lian Li takes up the basic structure unchanged from the O11 Dynamic and the O11 Dynamic XL. However, the whole layout is shrinking. Lian Li saves space in width by reducing the space behind the motherboard tray. There are still two hard drive bays (2.5 or 3.5 inches), another support for two SSDs and the power supply. However, only a narrow SFX model with no length limitations can be installed in the Mini.

Lian Li also saves space in height. This is accomplished by moving the cover fans closer to the motherboard, among other things. As this can prevent the installation of radiators, a modular system is used – depending on the configuration of the modular rear, seven, five or three expansion slots are available. The fewer slots used, the deeper the radiators are. The delivery also includes three different pump brackets, which allow installation on a radiator to save space, among other things.

The smaller O11, however, is the most clearly designed model to date for air cooling. It offers space for coolers of virtually any height, long graphics cards, and despite its small size, it doesn’t have to do without fans. Central to ventilation are still two 140mm or three 120mm fans at the bottom and top. As with other O11s, however, they need to be adapted; the housings have no factory ventilation.

Less than 100 euros

The O11 Dynamic Mini is already available in stores for around 90 euros in black and white. Online retailer Caseking names December 24 as the delivery date, which should be understood more as a placeholder for the absolute end of the year than as a realistic date.
