Through a publication on its official website, Nordpass has released a list of the most used passwords in 2020. Finding the first two can only take a second, as noted by the company.

“123456” and “123456789” are, in short, a terrible choice when creating a security password to protect e-mail accounts, social networks, chat, financial information and audiovisual material.

The first password is so predictable that it has been used by 2,543,285 people in the last year; not to mention that it has been exhibited 23,597,311 times.

The password that ranked second in the list was used by 961,435 users and exposed 7,870,694 times.

The names of TV series characters, tech brands, and sports references are also on the list of the 200 most common passwords. These are some examples: “naruto”, “baseball”, “football”, “soccer”, “dragon”, “pokemon”.
