Sometimes, a sharp tooth surface or dental appliance, such as braces or ill-fitting dentures, can also cause sores.
Some cases of complex ulcers appear in patients with immune system diseases, including lupus, Behçet’s disease, inflammatory bowel disease (including celiac disease, ulcerative colitis, and Crohn’s disease) and AIDS.
Mouth ulcers also appear in patients who have nutritional problems, such as a deficiency of vitamin B12, zinc, folic acid, or iron.
Symptoms of mouth ulcers
You may have an ulcer if you have:
A painful ulcer or sore inside the mouth – on the tongue, soft palate (the back of the roof of the mouth) or on the inside of the cheeks.
A burning or stinging sensation before the sores appear.
Sores in the mouth that are round, white or gray in color with a red border or border.
In severe attacks, you may also experience:
-Temperature.
Physical laziness.
Enlarged lymph nodes
