We are nearing the end of the year and we already have one of the latest AdDuplex reports on the latest Windows 10 update. These reports let us know about the adoption of Windows 10 updates and, let’s see how they are this month.
Windows 10 20H2 update already has a 9% share
The latest AdDuplex report shows it Windows 10 version 20H2 (October 2020 update) now runs at nearly 9% of Windows 10-based computers in the first full month of availability.
“Windows 10 version 20H2 is currently available on approximately 9% of Windows 10 PCs”observes AdDuplex, adding that the speed of the “The implementation of Windows 10 20H2 appears to be on par with the few previous versions.” Nearly 100,000 Windows 10 computers were surveyed to obtain this data.
Recall that, during the month of October, this update only had a 1.7% margin on all Windows 10-based computers. But the update was only available for 6 days. It is now starting to be implemented in a broader way.
The biggest news of last month was that Windows 10 in its 2004 version was catapulted into first place with almost 38% usage share. Interestingly, this hasn’t changed from month to month – 2004 still accounts for nearly 38% of usage even this month. Curiously, usage of Windows 10 version 1909 grew this month to 36.4%, up from 32.4 percent last month.
