Shock with 71 new deaths from the coronary pandemic in our country in one day. At the same time, the number of intubated cases rises to 392, while the number of new cases is significantly reduced.
The new cases of disease ascertained by the laboratory are 1698, of which 25 identified after checks at the gates of the country.
The total number of cases amounts to 74205 (daily change + 2.3%), of which 54.0% are men.
There are 71 new deaths of patients with COVID-19, while since the beginning of the epidemic there have been a total of 1106 deaths.
The mean age of the deceased patients was 80 years. The number of patients treated with intubation is 392 (69.1% men).
The daily distribution of confirmed cases is as follows (the line represents the total and cumulative distribution of cases).
Out of the total of 74205 cases, 4648 (6.3%) are considered to be related to travel from abroad, 19081 (25.7%) are
related to a known case and the rest are not related to travel or other known cases or are still
under investigation.
The mean age of the cases is 40 years (range 0 to 104 years), while the mean age at death is 80 years (range 25 to 103 years).

Geographical dispersion
The map shows the geographic distribution of total COVID-19 cases (since the start of the outbreak) by regional unit of the country, based on the patient’s declared permanent residence address, or the temporary residence address for tourists and others temporary residents in Greece. It includes both cases with travel history (“imported”) and cases with possible national transmission.
In the previous 24 hours, 14,262 molecular tests and 1635 rapid tests were performed. The positivity rate was 11.9%.
