Keanu Reeves has been gambling and is thrilled

Cyberpunk 2077 should actually appear without further delay. This is not only indicated by a slide in CD Projekt Red’s current financial report and leaked gameplay scenes from the first 20 minutes of the finished game, but also by a statement from Keanu Reeves.

Reeves, der in Cyberpunk 2077 (buy now 58,19 €) embodies the important character Johnny Silverhand, he has already been allowed to gamble in the role-playing game and, according to his own statements, he loves it. Commenting on the actor during the announcement of the financial results for the third quarter of 2020, CD Projekt Reds president Adam Kiciński said:
“He played the game. But as far as I know, he’s not done yet. So, he definitely plays it and loves it.“

While Reeves is unlikely to say anything negative about a game that makes a lot of money for itself through its own performance, the actor’s statement gives hope that something big awaits us. Keanu Reeves practically plays himself – it’s a pretty weird idea. So it must be a lot of fun to meet a character who looks and talks like himself.

Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the most ambitious and anticipated gaming projects of 2020. It remains to be seen whether the role-playing game can meet the high expectations of exalted fans. Let’s hope for the best and will report in detail when the title releases on December 10, 2020 for PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X.
