Rapper Kanye West voted for himself as the new president of the United States on Tuesday after a long campaign marked by erratic statements and speculation that he could have diverted some black votes from Democrat Joe Biden.
Late on Tuesday evening, the singer and stylist admitted that her 2020 offer was over, but suggested her research would continue. He posted a photo of him in front of an electoral map marked “KANYE 2024”.
Previously, West tweeted that he was “voting for the first time in my life for the President of the United States and he’s someone I really trust … me.”
He then posted a video of himself voting in Cody, Wyoming, where he entered the ballot.
West, 43, has won votes in a handful of states, though not in key places like Florida, Pennsylvania, and Michigan.
He has spent the past few weeks educating his followers on how to vote for him elsewhere.
West’s famous wife, Kim Kardashian, didn’t seem to support his candidacy. She showed no public support for her husband and retweeted a message on the hotline of Democratic Vice Presidential candidate Kamala Harris on Tuesday.
West, once one of Trump’s famous supporters, launched his campaign for the White House in July with irregular statements that raised concerns about his mental health.
The winner of 21 Grammy Awards said in 2018 that he had bipolar disorder.
West lent $ 6.7 million to his campaign, according to a document filed with the Federal Election Commission, and in a recent video he emphasized the values of religion and family.
