Fortune Barisal took its first win with a first-rate taste of Minister Group Rajshahi. Barisal won by 5 wickets on Saturday at Sher-e-Bangla Stadium in Mirpur.

Barisal was on track for a big win by keeping Rajshahi at 133 runs. Eventually, they quickly lost a few wickets, but Tamim returned to win the team. The unbeaten 6 out of 61 balls came from captain Barisal’s bat.

In the first half of the match, Kamrul Rabbi took 4 wickets for 21 runs with 3 wickets in the last over. Miraj took 2 runs for 18 runs in 4 overs.

Batting after losing the pitch, Rajshahi lost not a single wicket in the power play. However, the rush was not excessive. Only 39 runs in 6 overs. Captain Nazmul Hossain played some aggressive shots, but another opening Anisul Islam Emon was not getting the timing right.

It is good to lose wickets while walking the path of aggression. Abu Zaid’s ball was taken by midfielder Tamim Iqbal (24 out of 19 balls).

That was the beginning of losing the way to Rajshahi. Ronnie Talukder was launched by Miraj with a huge gap in the bat-pad. After a quick lightning strike at the border, Mohammad Ashraful was exhausted because of him.

Unable to find rhythm from the long wicket, forerunner Emon finally greeted Miraj with a wicket gift (24 out of 26 balls). Expert Nurul Hasan Sohan came to throw wickets increasing the danger. Rajshahi’s run in the eleventh over was 63 out of 5.

Mehdi Hasan and Fazle Mahmud Rabbi led the team from there. In the sixth wicket, the duo averaged 75 50-ball escapements.

As in the first game, Mehdi beat in disaster and increased the team’s run on the break. Fifty could not do like that day. This time he made 34 balls out of 23 with 3 sixes.

Fazle Rabbi came out in the last over with 31 runs of 32 balls.

Pursuing escape, Barisal quickly lost again to Mehedi Hasan Miraj. In the second wicket, the pair of Tamim and Parvez Hossain Emon gave the team a long way to go. Parvez, however, survived for 2 runs with an easy grip.

Although the start was a little slow, the two have had a storm in the last two overs of power play. Tamim hit two limits against Mehdi in the fifth over, Parvez hit a six and two fours from the fold. 23 leads came from this finished one.

In the next, Tamim hit three limits in a row against young fast thrower Rezaur Rahman. The pressure goes away a lot.

Mehdi broke this 61-run partnership. Parvez was thrown for 23 out of 16 balls.

Tamim did not lead the team to victory with Touhid’s heart. When their victory seemed a matter of time, they stumbled a little. Mukidul Islam’s ball was picked up from the sky and his heart was out (18 out of 24 balls). Afif Hossain came back with the first ball. Irfan Shukkur was exhausted.

However, Tamim did not allow the pressure to remain. In the end, Shant and Mukidul confirmed the fate of the match with two sixes. After playing 10 fours and 2 sixes in an inning, the Barisal captain left the field satisfied with the win.
