Liverpool have extended their unbeaten streak to seven games following Sunday’s close draw against Manchester City.

The Premier League and world champions do not play for two weeks as the international hiatus leaves Jurgen Klopp hoping his players will return to Kirkby unscathed.

Williams or Milner?
A change almost certainly imposed on Jurgen Klopp is the right-back.
Trent Alexander-Arnold risks losing to a calf problem, with James Milner – his second half replacement at Etihad – and Neco Williams vying to replace the English man.
Joel Matip played well against City and will have had two weeks to prepare for Leicester, and is the favorite to line up alongside Joe Gomez as center-back ahead of Nat Phillips and Rhys Williams.
As a left-back, Andy Robertson has great games coming up for Scotland but has been in excellent shape to stay ahead of Kostas Tsimikas.
The enigma of the midfield
Klopp surprised City with a 4-2-3-1 approach, but few would be surprised if Liverpool returned to 4-3-3 given Leicester’s threat on the break.
Jordan Henderson and Gini Wijnaldum have become mainstays in midfield and are expected to start such an important match.
However, there is a real gap on the last place. Naby Keita is in shape and Curtis Jones has seen a lot of playtime recently, while Xherdan Shaqiri has emerged as a real option.
Milner, if not required in defense, also has strong claims, although everything could be overlooked in Thiago Alcantara’s favor if the Spaniard regains shape after a knee problem.
Jota ready again
On the front, the international program could push Klopp to change his top three.
Roberto Firmino is with Brazil in South America for the games against Venezuela and Uruguay, and could take advantage of the bench given the long trip.
