Dixon, who was born with Down syndrome, died on October 19, according to people.com. The cause of death is not yet publicly known. The 52-year-old also talked about the proudest moment in DeOndra’s life. In 2009 he received the highest recognition from the Global Down Syndrome Foundation: The Quincy Jones Exceptional Advocacy Award for Self-Advocacy.
