Tesla remains at the forefront of electric vehicles and all the technology that equips its vehicles. There have been many new developments in recent years and more news is on the way.
According to the information, there will be a “major update” that will allow Tesla owners to remotely view, in the app, what the cameras associated with the autopilot can see.
According to the electrek website, Tesla plans to release a "major update" to the software, possibly version 11, to update some features and make others available. Tesla has long been talking about better integrating Tesla Sentry Mode functionality into its mobile app.
This feature was introduced in 2019 and allows for 360 ° surveillance of Tesla vehicles.

Sentinel mode adds a unique level of protection to Tesla vehicles. It allows you to continuously monitor the environment around a car when it is left unattended. In this way, once activated, the Sentinel mode enters a "Standby" state, like many home alarm systems, which use the car's external cameras to detect possible threats.
If a minimal threat is detected, such as someone leaning into a car, Sentry Mode enters a state of "Alert" and displays a message on the internal screen alert that the cameras are recording perimeter activity.
If a more serious threat is detected, such as someone breaking a window pane, Sentry Mode switches to the "Alarm" state, which activates the car alarm, increases the brightness of the central screen and plays music at maximum volume audio system of the car.
If a car goes into the "Alarm" state, owners will also receive an alert on the Tesla mobile app. They will be informed that an accident has occurred. They will then be able to download a video recording of the incident (via USB access inside the car). Incident recording begins 10 minutes before a threat is detected.
With the update Tesla plans to make available, owners of branded vehicles will be able to see what's going on around their vehicle through the app. Cameras that support autopilot will be available on the mobile app. It is not yet known when Tesla will launch such an update, knowing only that it is in development.
