The two processors will work on the same configuration, the difference between them will be given at the GPU level. Both will have a configuration with 1 x ARM Cortex-X1 + 3 x ARM Cortex-A78 + 4 x ARM Cortex-A55, while the graphics accelerator will be Mali-G78 for Exynos 2100 and Adreno 660 for Qualcomm Snapdragon 875.
Even though we are in the rumor exchange section, it is certain that Samsung engineers have pulled hard and have significantly narrowed the gap between their flagship product and Qualcomm’s. Whether they have made improvements in more sensitive areas remains to be seen: battery drain, throttling or thermal management.
