When Loris Karius moved to Union Berlin nine weeks ago, he was looking forward to finally returning to the Bundesliga. So far, however, this has remained a desire.

The loan from Liverpool FC has not yet played a competitive match for Iron. Among the posts is Andreas Luthe, who arrived from FC Augsburg before the season and considered an outsider in the fight for the regular spot after the transfer of Karius.

If something doesn’t change quickly in Karius’s situation, his guest appearance in Berlin may have been very brief. However, something may actually change now.

Karius has other requests

Because Karius has fully recovered from a foot injury that took him out of the race at the start of the season and wants to play. He clearly sees role number 1 as his statement – that’s exactly why he came to Köpenick.

However, if Fischer continues to bet on Luthe, Karius’s time in the German capital may soon end.

The loan lasts until the end of the season, but is put to the test in the winter. It is very likely that it will be canceled prematurely.
