iPhone 12 Pro Max against OnePlus 8T. Which produces the photos that people prefer

A certain YouTuber ran a camera test with smartphone photos this year. Its audience has decided which of the iPhone 12 Pro Max and OnePlus 8T smartphones produces the best photos with their cameras.

For the past few years, YouTuber MKBHD has been conducting camera tests at the end of each year to see which phone produces images popular with the general public.

So the general public decided which photos are of the highest quality, without being informed which image belongs to which phone. The camera test was performed again this year.

However, this year, none of the Apple phones in the US managed to successfully complete the first round. Not even the iPhone 12 Pro Max, Apple’s top-of-the-line smartphone in the US for this year.

This phone has been overtaken by the OnePlus 8T, which is much cheaper. Although the US firm Apple has been intensely promoting camera improvements of its phones for 2020, when it comes to the preferences of the general public, the photos of the OnePlus 8T seem to be preferred at the expense of the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

It should be noted that this does not mean that Pro Max phones have inadequate cameras. As MKBHD has pointed out in the past, photos captured by our smartphones are generally uploaded to social media, so a high level of quality and detail is not required.

Plus, there’s compression and how each smartphone processes the image. However, it is interesting that the smartphones (iPhone 12) considered formidable have not reached the top in terms of photos captured by their cameras. What do you think about this?
