Hulu had to temporarily remove an episode from the Animaniacs reboot

World domination is the goal of Cerebro, the famous mouse who has returned to his adventures with Pinky in the new series of the Animaniacs.

However, Cerebro’s goal and reboot presentation was covered Hulu suffered an unexpected complication courtesy of a telephone number.

It turns out that, over the past week, fans who were watching the new series on that streaming platform have realized this the sixth episode of Animaniacs I was not available.

The reason? According to CinemaBlend, in the segment of Pinky and the Brain A commercial appeared in which Cerebro was trying to recruit henchmen to try to take over the world. Said advertisement included a phone number which should have been fictitious, however, when tested the number corresponded to a direct sexual line.

Naturally Hulu removed the episode from its platform to make amends for that mistake. But, while many were hoping that the solution would result in a new problem, streaming initially solved things much less solemnly.

As identified by Animated +, Hulu only deleted Cerebro’s advertising contact information, eliminating any phone number altogether and setting aside the joke.

But since the context was obviously not clear with that image, Hulu eventually updated the chapter again and unveiled a third version of the scene that now includes a number that apparently leads to nothing in particular.

Restarting Animaniacs premiered November 20 on Hulu, a stream that is not available in Latin America. But although the series has only been on that platform for a few days, this isn’t the first controversy surrounding its proposition and over the past week some Johnny Depp fans have criticized the show for what they perceived as a mockery of the ‘actor.
