Huawei has sold its Honor sub-brand

“Huawei’s consumer-oriented business has recently come under enormous pressure. The reason for this is the lack of continuity in accessing the technical elements necessary for the mobile phone industry,” says the company’s official website.

Stating that Honor’s secondary brand, launched in 2013, was sold to Shenzhen Zhixin New Information Technology Co., Ltd., Huawei pointed out that this sale will help Honor’s channel providers succeed in this difficult time.

Although there are no official sales price statements, according to press figures, approximately $ 15.2 billion in cash will go into Huawei’s safe.

In May, the US administration banned the use of US technology in Huawei-branded devices. With this decision, Huawei has lost its devices with the latest technology chips.
