Nimiq is a browser-based blockchain. It was written in Javascript ES6 and for this reason the complete blockchain is executed in the browser. The main goal of Nimiq is to solve the payment solution and provide a browser-based payment solution for sending money. They also have almost instant transactions. Nimiq is a tiny single-coin CPU, because it uses the Aragon2D algorithm
Now that we know the details about Nimiq, let's extract some Nimiq!
Some general tips for mining [19659005] So before starting this tutorial, most of the mining software will be marked as virus by virus scanners. For this reason, if you perform mining operations on your normal gaming or everyday computer with an antivirus installed, it is advisable to exclude the mining software from the antivirus. What I like to do is create a folder and then insert all my mining software into subfolders. Then I exclude the top-level folder from the antivirus and this excludes all the mining software.
Creating an account
First we have to create a portfolio. To do this click here. You will need to create a new account. First you have to choose an avatar.
Be sure to write down that address, because that's your public key. So you can create the seed words.
Be sure to write the words of the seeds because this is your private key (how you spend your funds). Now you can access this account by restoring your wallet using your seed words. By logging in you can then send funds using the web browser. Be sure to use https://safe.nimiq.com/#/_account/ to sign in.
Mining Pool
I chose sushipool for the extraction. They seem to have the most functionality and a 0% commission at the moment.
CPU Mining
There are two different ways you can use your CPU. You can download the miner on your computer. I tried to download Sushi Miner for Windows and it did not work. I also tried to download the official Windows miner from nimiq.io, but you need to download the complete blockchain. This too was a bit of glitch, so I'm not sure what exactly is happening. If I was digging this coin I would probably try the software, but if you have problems with it, or you do not want to download the entire blockchain, then web mining is probably the best way to go. I feel this is the easiest way to extract it and I have some unique features compared to mining software.

Software Mining [19659007] Download the official miner on https://nimiq.com/#downloads It is available for Windows and Linux. Once downloaded and installed, you need to open the configuration file. The configuration is in Appdata / local. You should be able to open the folder by typing% LOCALAPPDATA% in the search bar on the Windows Home tab.

Replace the host and port with any mining pool and port that use and replace the address with your address.
Then run the miner. It should be in the folder all the programs in the launch bar under the Nimiq folder. If it gives an error and closes, it means that your configuration file is configured incorrectly, wise syntax. If the installation is correct, it will start to download the blockchain. It took me 12 hours for me so it could take a while. It should start mining after this.
Web Mining
First go to https://safe.nimiq.com/#/_account/ to log in. Then click on the + button next to your accounts and import the recovery words.
Once you have logged in, go to https://miner.nimiq.com/ and then connect to the network. You will want to connect to a data mining pool once the mining is started. By default, you are a solo miner. This means that when you find a block, you get all the block premium, but it may take a long time to find one. I noticed on the bottom that for me I estimated 6 months to find a mining block alone. Once connected, you must log in to a pool, then select a pool from the list by clicking on the mining pool box.
You can also visit the website of your mining pool directly and connect to the CPU miner, but I found that this is easier and you can quickly switch from one pool to one if the connection is interrupted, because this happened to me during the extraction.
How much will I earn Nimiq a day?
To figure it out, you would go to https://calc.nimiqx.com/ and use the calculator. The calculator gives an approximate estimate, so you may receive a sum higher or lower than the one actually indicated by the calculator.
Most of the values have already been entered correctly and you only have to change some values.
Hash Rate : Enter your total speed (in kilohashes per second) for all your mining computers. This would be the value of "total speed" in your data mining software. Be sure to add all the computers you use for Nimiq mining.
Power: Enter the total amount of energy (in watts) your drilling rig uses. Some mining software will measure it for you. You can also measure the total energy consumption for your computer using special software or a kilowatt meter. I prefer to use a kilowatt meter, because I find it to be the most accurate. Be sure to add all the computers you use for Nimiq mining.
Cost: Enter the cost per kilowatt hour you pay for your electricity company. I was able to find this information on my monthly bill, as well as on their website.
Rate for the pool (below the advanced options): Enter the pool commission + the developer's commission of the miner software. For our example, enter 0
Hardware cost: Enter the total cost of all your hardware.
