Furthermore, and especially as we age, it is not abnormal that sleep is increasingly divided. In this case, according to Michel Cymes, there is no problem that a night is divided into several parts.

“You sleep, you get up to read a book, iron, listen to the radio (as long as it’s not a stressful activity) and go back to sleep when the need arises,” he advises.

Be active during the day

However, the ideal would be to restructure your days. The body needs a minimum of synchronization: if the night is for sleeping, the day is for moving and receiving lots of natural light. So the solution may lie in the activity: if you keep spending your days dozing around the house, you shouldn’t be surprised to experience punctuated nights.

Finally, food is essential. Refreshing evenings can be prepared from breakfast. A healthy and balanced diet will help you sleep better.
